Weaver Nut Company Inc. started out in 1975. With close to 50 years of experience, they know a thing or two about quality and variety. Mr. and Mrs. Weaver owned seven market stands and started out by running their business in the basement of their home. By 1982, the Weavers had become locally famous for their products and moved their manufacturing business out of their home and into a commercially rented space. In just one short year, they opened a store in the Cloister Shopping Center. The Weaver’s first store was named Weaver’s Candy and Cookie Outlet.
Progress Brought On Expansion
In 1987, the Weaver’s business had grown so much that they were able to build a new location. The current business still operates out of this location. The Weavers went through a few business name changes as they continued to expand their products and business. When they moved into the new location in 1987, they renamed the business E. Paul Weaver III Nut Company. A few short years later, in 1990, the wholesale and retail had doubled in size. In 1993, they changed their name one final time to Weaver Nut Company Inc.
